It began with the presentation of a paper, "Curriculum for Primary Schools", by Padmanabha Rao at Kathmandu in April 2001. An exposure workshop was conducted at RIVER for a 4 member team led by the then Director, Dept of Education, Mr Janardhan Nepal in January 2008. This was followed, in January 2009, by an MGML Methodology Induction workshop for 22 persons. The team this time was led by the Deputy Director, Dept of Education, Mr Pramod Kumar Shah. The participants displayed phenomenal enthusiasm in wanting to learn this methodology and were rearing to get started in implementing MGML at their locations in Nepal.
